How a Granite Heroes Quote Actually Works (No Calculators, No Guessing)

Every quote we send is reviewed and priced by a person after looking at your photos and details. Here is the whole process from first text to accepted estimate, and why we do not use an online price generator.
A lot of home-service websites now have a "get an instant price" button. We deliberately do not. Stone restoration prices depend on things that a form cannot see — how deep the etching goes, whether the "granite" is actually marble, how much furniture has to move, whether the grout has failed under the surface. Here is how a quote from Granite Heroes really works. Step 1 — You send details and photos Start on the [Text Us](/text-us) page, the [Request a Quote](/request-estimate) form, or from inside the [Client Portal](/portal/request-estimate) if you already have an account. We ask for: - The surface (countertop, floor, shower, vanity, fireplace, exterior) - The stone type if you know it — it is fine if you do not - What is wrong (dull, scratched, etched, stained, chipped, cracked, grout or caulk failure) - Approximate size and, for chips or cracks, roughly how many - Your timeline - A few photos, ideally with the room lights off and a flashlight held low across the surface Photos are required. They are what let us give you a real number instead of a range. Step 2 — A technician reviews it A person — not a script — looks at what you sent. Sometimes they will text back a question or ask for one more angle. This is where we catch the things that change the price: a dolomitic marble sold as granite, a crack that is actually a seam, a shower whose real problem is failed waterproofing rather than the tile.
