Countertop Chip Repair in Chicago

A chip along a countertop edge, around an undermount sink or at a corner catches the eye every time you walk past. We fill chips with color-matched stone resin, shape the fill to the original edge profile, and blend the finish so the repair disappears into the surrounding stone.

Can a chipped granite or marble countertop be repaired?

Yes. Most edge, corner and sink chips are repaired in place with a color-matched resin that is shaped to the original edge and polished to match the stone. You do not need to replace the slab. Send us photos of the chip and we will confirm the repair and quote it.

Will the chip repair be visible?

On most stones the repair is very hard to spot once it is color-matched and polished. Heavily patterned or very light stones can show a faint outline up close; we will tell you what to expect from your photos.

Do you need the broken piece?

If you still have the piece, keep it. Sometimes it can be bonded back in. If not, we rebuild the chip with color-matched resin.
