Countertop Chip Repair in Lincolnwood, IL
A chip along a countertop edge, around an undermount sink or at a corner catches the eye every time you walk past. We fill chips with color-matched stone resin, shape the fill to the original edge profile, and blend the finish so the repair disappears into the surrounding stone.
Can a chipped granite or marble countertop be repaired?
Yes. Most edge, corner and sink chips are repaired in place with a color-matched resin that is shaped to the original edge and polished to match the stone. You do not need to replace the slab. Send us photos of the chip and we will confirm the repair and quote it.

Recent chip repair jobs near Lincolnwood
- Wilmette Limestone Kitchen Island Polish (Wilmette, Limestone): This Wilmette kitchen showcased a massive limestone island countertop that had developed a patchy, worn appearance from years of food preparation and daily use. The warm, honey-toned limestone had lost its uniform finish and had several areas of etching from acidic foods. Our restoration process involved carefully honing the entire surface to an even finish, filling any small chips with color-matched epoxy, and applying a satin polish that enhanced the fossil details in the stone. We finished with a food-safe impregnating sealer to protect against future staining while maintaining the natural beauty of the limestone.
- Classic B&W Marble Foyer Refinishing (Park Ridge, Marble): Full refinishing of a black-and-white marble foyer in Park Ridge. The homeowner wanted to restore the elegant look of their entryway. We addressed chips and cracks in several tiles, performed lippage removal for a flat surface, then diamond-polished to a high gloss. All transition areas received fresh caulking and the grout was deep-cleaned and sealed for lasting beauty.
- Bucktown Brownstone Terrazzo Floor Revival (Chicago, Terrazzo): Full restoration of original 1920s terrazzo flooring in a renovated Bucktown brownstone. Do you need the broken piece?
If you still have the piece, keep it. Sometimes it can be bonded back in. If not, we rebuild the chip with color-matched resin.
